Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee logistics operations across our North American and European plants. This role is responsible for managing customized logistics services and solutions, including inbound and outbound materials management, transportation, and third-party logistics (3PL) coordination.
The Logistics Manager will optimize the logistics network, streamline material flow, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations. This includes managing customs clearance processes, coordinating with brokers, and overseeing tariff classifications and duty mitigation strategies.
Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000, the actual salary the successful candidate is offered will be dependent on several factors related to the specified position.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage logistics, transportation, and cross-dock operations across assigned regions.
Develop and implement logistics strategies that incorporate customs compliance, brokerage coordination, and tariff optimization.
Maintain current knowledge of evolving tariff requirements.
Review logistics options for cost, efficiency, and regulatory compliance by checking brokerage invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with engineering teams at different plants to collect information needed for tariff compliance.
Build and maintain a network of local and international carriers and customs brokers.
Resolve logistics constraints and service failures, ensuring continuous improvement in delivery performance.
Ensure adherence to corporate sourcing policies and regulatory requirements, including import/export laws and trade agreements.
Train logistics personnel on systems (TMS, ERP), safety, and international trade compliance.
Manage all freight claims to ensure timely and effective resolution
Monitor and report logistics KPIs, including customs clearance times, duty costs, and broker performance.
Support business development initiatives and collaborate with corporate logistics teams to ensure consistency across regions.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Logistics Manager with a strong background in international logistics, customs, tariffs, and brokerage operations.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of international trade, customs, and tariffs as they continue to develop
Demonstrated success in managing cross-border shipments and navigating complex tariff structures.
Experience working with 3PLs and customs brokers.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in logistics, transportation, ERP, and TMS software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Industry certifications (e.g., CCLP, CSCMP, or customs brokerage certifications) are an asset.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
Other Skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong experience in working knowledge and understanding of customs documentation, HS codes, and trade compliance systems.
This position requires on-site presence from Monday to Thursday. Remote work is permitted on Fridays, offering flexibility to accommodate
