Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team on a temporary 12 -18 month contract to cover a maternity leave (ideally January 5th, 2026 start date, possibility to extend to 18 months). This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to support marketing initiatives that connect our people, products, and customers.
The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting campaigns, events, communications, and digital content to enhance Swegon North America’s presence in the market while ensuring alignment with our global brand.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Campaigns & Content
- Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Assist in the creation of marketing collateral (brochures, presentations, case studies, newsletters, etc.) in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain consistent brand standards across all materials.
Digital Marketing & Communications
- Coordinate updates to the Swegon North America website and social media platforms.
- Draft and schedule social media content to build engagement and awareness.
- Monitor digital metrics and prepare performance reports.
Events & Trade Shows
- Provide logistical and administrative support for trade shows, customer events, and internal company events.
- Coordinate with vendors, manage promotional materials, and ensure brand visibility.
- Important to note - this could require occasional travel within Canada and the USA.
Internal Communications
- Assist with internal newsletters, announcements, and employee engagement campaigns.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to support communication strategies that strengthen company culture.
Administrative Support
- Manage the marketing calendar, databases, and file organization.
- Track marketing budgets and process invoices.
- Liaise with suppliers, agencies, and contractors as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or coordination role (B2B or manufacturing industry experience considered an asset).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), design platforms (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite preferred) and workflow platforms (Monday.com preferred)
- Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and digital analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- May be required to travel within Canada and to the USA occasionally to assist with trade shows, training events etc.
- Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable with a positive “can-do” attitude.
